What is the closing date for entries?
Entry deadline: 31May 2012
Late entry deadline: 14 June. Please note a late entry fee of £ 45.00 +VAT will apply to entries submitted after 31 May 2012
Owing to the increase in entries and in order to meet deadlines for processing all entries in time for judging, a late entry penalty has been introduced. A late entry penalty fee of £45.00 + VAT per late entry will be levied if a company fails to meet the deadline for entries.
How much is it to enter?
Standard rate: £ 165.00 + VAT
Association member rate: £ 140.00 + VAT
AEO, ISES, Eventia, IVCA, EVA, BECA, NOEA and AEV
Charity rate: £ 90.00 + VAT

What is the eligibility period?
Eligibility period is 8 May 2011 to 12 May 2012.
Who should I make my cheques payable to?
Cheques should be made payable to Event Awards 2012.
Can the same entry be entered into more than one category?
Yes, you can enter the same entry into as many relevant categories. Remember, each category has different criteria so your written submission will need to be amended accordingly.
Can my company enter more than one project into the same category?
Yes, your company can enter as many different projects as you wish providing they adhere to the entry criteria.
My company is baseed outside the UK. Can I enter the Event Awards?
Yes, companies both in the UK and outside of the UK can enter.
Will I be able to collect my supporting material after the Awards?
Entries/support material will not be returned, but collection may be arranged by applying to the event manager at the time of entry. Please note that entries for which collection has not been arranged will be securely disposed of 10 working days after the Awards ceremony.
Will I be penalised if my entry exceeds two single sides of A4?
Yes, if your written entry exceeds two single sides of A4 you risk being disqualified or penalised. Entry fees will not be refunded if you are disqualified.
When will the final shortlist be announced?
The final shortlist will be announced online in August and in the September issue of Event magazine.
How do I amend an existing entry?
If you wish to add another entry to an existing booking, please click on "amend an existing entry". Please have your email address and password ready. You will come to a page that has your details displayed, click on the "edit" button on the bottom left hand side of the page (under the payment option) and you will be able to amend or add and entry.
How will my entry be judged? What is the judging process?

Can I withdraw my entry?
Yes, entries may be withdrawn up until Friday 22 June 2012. Entry fees will not be refunded.
Can I enter the same project as I entered into the 2011 Event Awards?
Projects previously entered into the Event Awards may be submitted for this year's Awards, provided it can be evidenced that further improvements to business performance have been achieved since 8 May 2011.
