Event Awards

Welcome to the Event Awards 2010. Regarded as the event industry’s number one award ceremony, this year’s event will showcase the best of creative, experiential and live exhibitions.

Ensuring that each and every one of you gets the opportunity to enter the Awards, this year’s categories have been tweaked and improved. Categories such as Act of the Year will allow not just entertainment agencies to enter their artistes, but also the acts themselves, while Event Venue of the Year (non exhibition) will allow venues ranging from private members bars and temporary structures to blank canvas spaces and museums to enter. For the first time we have also included Teambuilding Event of the Year; a category open to those agencies that have created activities which have delivered above and beyond the brief.

To increase the interaction of the Awards judging process Caterer of the Year will also require the shortlisted companies to produce a live food tasting experience for the judges, while Event magazine and eventmagazine.co.uk readers will be able to once again vote for Showcase of the Year and Act of the Year.

Winning or even being nominated for one of these Awards will not only put you among an elite band of companies, it will also raise the marketing potential of your brand and provide you with an accolade that is highly respected throughout the industry.

As always, a panel of judges, hand-picked for their expertise and respect within the industry, will deliberate all categories, paying particular attention to entries that highlight how they superseded the briefs, while also providing concise testimonials and strong supporting material.

With the magazine and website firmly established as the industry’s leading publications, this is the year to enter the Event Awards.

Good luck.
